Lewis Roca Strengthens Litigation Practice in Denver with Key Addition of Three Accomplished Lawyers
DENVER (April 9, 2024) – Lewis Roca continues its expansion in Denver with the arrival of three lawyers to the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and Construction Industry Group. Daniel C. Wennogle and Nick R. Herrick join as partners, while Lilly Lentz joins as an associate. All three attorneys arrive from Moye White, a Denver-based full-service law firm.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan, Nick, and Lilly to the firm’s litigation group,” said Douglas Tumminello, Lewis Roca’s Litigation Practice Group Leader. “Their expertise significantly strengthens our capabilities, ensuring exceptional service to our clients, particularly in the areas of construction and real estate litigation.”
Wennogle is an accomplished litigation attorney focused on construction and property rights matters, including contract disputes, schedule delay and impact claims, lien and bond claims, construction defects, quiet title actions, easement disputes, and condemnation. He also counsels and advises developers and contractors negotiate contracts, deal with regulatory issues, and assess and pursue claims. Wennogle received his J.D. from the University of Denver, his M.A. from the University of Montana, and his B.A. from Princeton University.
A commercial litigator, Herrick focuses his practice on construction, real estate, and development issues. In his construction practice, he works with owners, developers, general contractors, design professionals, and trade contractors in refining contract documents, best practices, contract disputes, delay claims, lien and bond claims, and construction defect claims. Herrick received his J.D. from the University of Colorado, and his B.B.A. from the University of Iowa.
Lentz is a complex commercial litigator focusing on construction and real estate. Her practice extends to partition actions, quiet title, failure to disclose claims, and construction defects. She has represented owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in an assortment of disputes involving AIA contracts, easements, fraudulent transfers, mechanic’s liens, commercial leases, homeowners associations, and insurance coverage issues. Lentz received her J.D. from the University of Denver and her B.A. from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
“We are honored to join Lewis Roca and contribute to the advancement of its esteemed litigation and construction practice,” said Wennogle. “Our collective expertise and dedication empower us to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively, ensuring exceptional legal services to our clients and further reinforcing the firm’s reputation for excellence.”
Wennogle, Herrick, and Lentz’s arrival comes after Lewis Roca brought on Emily Bath and Taylor Hite to the firm’s Denver office earlier this month, continuing to expand the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
