Lewis Roca Announces the Addition of Two Esteemed Leaders to Manage Human Resources and Professional Development Initiatives
PHOENIX (June 29, 2022) – With a focus on continued growth and development of the firm’s lawyers ensuring they have the resources and tools to provide excellence to the firm’s clients, Lewis Roca has announced the arrival of two administrative leaders. Laura Wickliff has joined the firm as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Casey Frank has joined the firm as the Director of Professional Development.
In the role of Chief Human Resources Officer, Wickliff is responsible for the firm’s human resources strategy and administrative support operations, as well as all of the human resources functions within the firm. She has 20 years of legal human resources experience overseeing and resolving issues related to staffing, recruiting, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, labor law compliance, and compensation and benefits.
Wickliff joins the firm after recently serving in an HR leadership role at an AmLaw 100 law firm in Washington, D.C., and previously overseeing the human resources department for another AmLaw 200 leading law firm in Phoenix. She is an active member of the National Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and served on the 2020-2021 Nominating Committee, the 2018 Job Description Committee, and the 2017 HR Conference Committee. Wickliff is known for her passion in learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion, authentic leadership, and community engagement. She earned her B.S. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Indianapolis.
As the Director of Professional Development, Frank leads the management and design of lawyer onboarding, core legal and professional training workshops and leadership development and initiatives supporting lawyer engagement and retention.
Prior to joining Lewis Roca, Frank was the Professional Development Manager at the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project (FIRRP) responsible for overseeing professional training and onboarding to support team member growth and professional competencies. With a background in law, Frank also served as a Staff Attorney and then a Managing Attorney at (FIRRP) representing unaccompanied children in immigration removal proceedings. She discovered her passion for professional development through her work at (FIRRP) developing trainings and mentoring staff. Frank received her J.D. from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Iowa.
