Tyler Owen is a litigator whose practice focuses on general commercial litigation matters. Tyler has experience researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda in various areas of law, including first-party bad faith insurance claims, risk management, and complex corporate litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Tyler served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Maria Teresa Fox of the Colorado Court of Appeals, where he researched legal issues presented on appeal and drafted appellate opinions. He also served as a law student intern to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, where he contributed to appellate briefs submitted to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and prepared memoranda on a variety of topics, including the Federal Tort Claims Act, ADA liability, and HIPAA.
During law school, Tyler was a Rothgerber teaching fellow for constitutional law and a research assistant with a focus on the federal budget process.
