Richard P. McCann

Richard “Ricky” McCann is a paralegal in the firm’s Business Transactions Group.  Ricky started at the firm in 2007 as a file clerk and has since served in a variety of roles within several practice areas.

Ricky has experience in many areas of business law, including business entity filings and research, transactions, and real estate, and he is responsible for all registered agent files in the Las Vegas office.  He also serves as the Transaction Coordinator for one of the firm’s clients, managing certain aspects of multi-family property acquisitions, property investments, and business entity activities.  In addition, he has extensive experience with preparing, filing, and managing business licenses, with a particular focus on liquor licenses and other food and beverage licenses.  Ricky also assists the Gaming lawyers with acquiring various business and gaming licenses, and he monitors state and federal legislative activity that may impact U.S. gaming laws.

Ricky previously worked in the firm’s intellectual property unit, and appellate unit, where he assisted attorneys with trials, appellate briefs, and appellate oral arguments.
