Patti G. Miller

Patti Miller joined Lewis Roca in 1997, serves as a Certified Legal Investigator™, and investigates matters across all the firm's Practice Groups (Litigation, Business Transaction, Employment, Intellectual Property, and Government and Regulatory Compliance) and for all offices. Out of 70 Certified Legal Investigators ™ in the world, Patti is one of only 15 female Certified Legal Investigators ™. Patti is also a certified Paralegal. She has more than 35 years of civil and criminal legal experience.

Prior to joining Lewis Roca, Patti worked as a civilian within the City of Phoenix Police Department’s Patrol Division and Organized Crime Division assisting in administration and criminal investigations. Her experience includes the development & management of custom database computer programs, insurance defense, personal injury, product liability, workers compensation, employment law, worker’s compensation, intellectual property, criminal, employment law, and commercial litigation. In 1991, Patti obtained her business agency private investigator’s license through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. She owned her own successful freelance paralegal and private investigation business for several years assisting law firms, insurance companies, and governmental agencies across the country.

As Patti embarks on over a quarter of a Century as a Certified Legal Investigator ™ for Lewis Roca, she continues to focus on civil, criminal, fraud, asset, and background investigations. In addition, she conducts witness interviews, liability determinations, analysis, and evaluation for legal investigations. Investigations performed by Patti include background and asset investigations, as well as in the areas of skip tracing/locating witnesses, witness interviews, criminal law, civil litigation, intellectual property matters, trademark matters, personal injury matters, employment investigations, insurance matters, surveillance, and general litigation.  She also consults with attorneys and clients on investigation strategies.

In her free time, Patti is a certified therapy dog handler and enjoys visiting patients and staff in hospitals, assisted living facilities, and hospice facilities, with her German Shepherd, K-9 Max.
