Melissa Wallingsford is a paralegal in the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Melissa brings 24 years of legal experience to the firm. Prior to joining Lewis Roca in 2023, she spent over a decade assisting in the defense of white-collar criminal matters for high-profile clients. Melissa participated in matters involving complex government regulation violations, securities fraud, tax evasion, healthcare fraud, money laundering, and PPP loan fraud.
Melissa has been involved in a diverse range of legal matters that range from death penalty cases, civil rights violations, clemency board actions, and forfeiture cases. She also worked for 11 years in highly litigated complex family law matters along with cases before the Administrative Law Judge pertaining to securities complaints and campaign finance violations.
Melissa has participated in jury trials, judicial trials, evidentiary hearings, and settlement conferences in administrative, state and federal courts.
