Brooks Brennan practices in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group with a particular emphasis on commercial, construction, and securities litigation.
As part of his construction practice, Brooks regularly represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and owners in an array of construction matters, including litigation, arbitration, and Arizona Registrar of Contractor proceedings. He has represented clients involved in both private and public construction disputes concerning defective work and design, negligence, delay, suspension of work, contract termination, and payment. Brooks also has experience counseling clients on risk management and dispute avoidance strategies.
Brooks’ securities practice consists of defending broker-dealers, individual registered representatives, and registered investment advisors in both arbitrations and ligation matters before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Dispute Resolution Forum, private arbitrations, state court proceedings, and regulatory enforcement proceedings. These matters include disputes involving supervision, suitability, securities-fraud, and expungements.
