State Bar of Arizona Appoints Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Attorney to Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section Executive Council

Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Phoenix partner, Marla Hudgens, has been elected to serve as a member-at-large of the State Bar of Arizona’s Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section Executive Council for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.

“Marla is an outgoing and committed lawyer who will be an influential member of the State Bar’s Environmental and Natural Resources Executive Council,” said Carla Consoli, practice group leader of the firm’s Regulatory and Government practice. “We are excited to congratulate Marla on this prestigious position and look forward to her contributions to this very important group.”

Marla Hudgens practices in the areas of regulatory and administrative law and is both a litigator and transactional lawyer. She has extensive experience handling contentious cases for clients in highly regulated industries or facing administrative law challenges. This includes handling utility rate cases, gaming matters, tax disputes, complex permitting and liquor law issues.

Originally from Nevada, Marla Hudgens also has a multi-jurisdictional practice, with clients located in both Arizona and Nevada. Prior to joining Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, Marla worked as an attorney at Lionel Sawyer & Collins and clerked for Justice Hardesty of the Nevada Supreme Court. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Gonzaga University.
