Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Welcomes New Lawyer to Business Transactions Practice

LAS VEGAS (June 6, 2019) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announced Jeffrey J. Steffen has joined the firm as Partner in the firm’s Business Transactions practice group. As a transactional attorney, his practice is focused in corporate, commercial real estate and construction law.

Steffen helps clients negotiate the full range of business contracts including stock/asset purchase and sale agreements, licensing agreements, employment and independent contractor agreements, nondisclosure, non-circumvention and option agreements, franchise purchase and sale agreements, and settlement/release agreements. He has handled multimillion-dollar real estate sales and acquisitions, real estate developments, and has significant experience with corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as finance transactions. He also serves small business clients, and advises them on matters involving entity selection, formation and governance, including operating agreements, bylaws and corporate resolutions.

Additionally, Steffen has considerable experience in the drafting and negotiation of game development and intellectual property license agreements for land-based slot machines and online gaming. Before joining corporate practice, Steffen served as General Counsel for a private corporation in Las Vegas. He has also been consistently recognized as a Mountain States Super Lawyer since 2015.

Steffen received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and his B.A. from Northern Illinois University.
