Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Selects New Chair of Recruiting Committee
Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP has selected Samuel Chang, a partner in the firm’s Phoenix office, as the new Chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee. Chang, one of only a few Asian-American attorneys at a major U.S. law firm to serve in such a role, will oversee the firm’s recruitment of talented professionals and thought leaders from the legal community to a firm committed to their professional development and careers.

Chang focuses his practice on real estate sales and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and loan transactions. He represents developers, hospitals, real estate investment firms and institutional equity investors in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, leasing, operation and financing of multi-family residential complexes, office buildings, senior housing projects, retail centers, industrial facilities and mixed-use projects.

The Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Recruiting Committee guides the strategic recruiting and hiring of associate level attorneys with a focus on a program of inclusion incorporating diversity and cultural acceptance. The Committee oversees the development and implementation of the firm’s associate summer program ensuring an in-depth program for law school students as well as the management of on-campus interviews and resume programs during the annual fall recruiting session for incoming attorneys. The Committee also strives to develop and implement best practices for interview skills and processes for applying for legal positions.
