Lewis Roca Lawyer Named to Phoenix Business Journal 40 Under 40 Class of 2020

PHOENIX (August 6, 2020) – Lewis Roca announced that intellectual property lawyer, David A. Jackson, has been named to the Phoenix Business Journal 40 Under 40 Class of 2020. This annual recognition honors 40 Phoenix business leaders and professionals under the age of 40, for their work within their companies and organizations as well as their contributions to the greater Valley community.

Jackson’s practice covers a full spectrum of intellectual property services. In particular, his practice focuses on managing complex trademark portfolios, helping clients develop strategies to build and protect their global brands. He provides comprehensive counsel on trademark selection, clearance and prosecution to identify potential risks and avoid costly pitfalls for his clients. Jackson also has extensive experience litigating trademark infringement matters before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board and in federal district court, seeking preliminary injunctions to help clients protect their brands and avoid irreparable harm.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jackson’s commitment to the community is one of the many reasons he has been chosen as a member of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2020. Since 2009, Jackson has volunteered with middle schools throughout Phoenix teaching students about the law and the Constitution and mentoring students through mock trials. In addition, he has been a Big Brother since 2011 and was recognized by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona as “Big Brother of the Year” in 2019 for his dedication to mentoring. Jackson is also a member of the Sandra Day O’Connor Inn of Court and serves on the U.S. Trademark Law Committee for the Intellectual Property Owners Association, working with both organizations to promote education and professionalism in the legal industry.
