Laura A. Lo Bianco Joins Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie in Phoenix

Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP has added Laura LoBianco as a Partner in the Phoenix office. LoBianco, previously a director and chair of the nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations practice at Fennemore Craig, brings extensive corporate and transactional law experience to the firm.

“We are thrilled that a top tier practitioner of Laura’s caliber is joining our team,” said Managing Partner Ken Van Winkle. “Her background, including significant experience with non-profits and other tax-exempt entities, will further strengthen our service offering to that industry.”

LoBianco focuses her corporate practice on business counseling, the formation of organizations, including non-profit, tax-exempt organizations and limited liability companies, compliance, corporate governance, and maintenance of requisite organizational records. She also advises various tax-exempt entities, such as private foundations, public charities, schools, support organizations and other entities that are tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Code. She has experience with mergers and acquisitions, the purchase, sale and lease of real property as well as negotiation of contracts.

LoBianco earned her J.D., cum laude, from Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.S., magna cum laude, from Arizona State University.  She is a member of the Bar Association of Arizona and served as a Staff Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review, 1995-1996.

In 2016, LoBianco was elected to the Board of Directors for the Desert Botanical Garden Foundation. She also serves as a board member of the Valley of Sun United Way.
