Indian Gaming and Tribal Law Lawyer Joins Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie
PHOENIX (May 30, 2019) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announced Indian Law lawyer Rachel R. Felix has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as an associate in the Regulatory and Government practice group.
Admitted to practice in New Mexico and the Navajo Nation, Felix’s practice primarily focuses on assisting clients with Indian gaming and tribal law. Additionally, she currently serves as the Navajo Nation Judicial Branch representative to the Commission on Navajo Government Development. Felix also serves the Navajo Nation Bar Association as the Board of Bar Commissioner for the Shiprock District.
Felix received her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she compiled a distinguished record of achievement as student editor-in-chief of the Tribal Law Journal and was student liaison with the New Mexico Tribal-State Judicial Consortium. She also received her M.P.A. and her B.U.S., cum laude, from the University of New Mexico.
