Baumann Elected to ALAS Board of Directors
DENVER – Frederick J. Baumann, executive committee chairman at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, has been elected to the board of directors of ALAS (Attorneys' Liability Assurance Society).
ALAS is a mutual company founded to provide quality law firms with a stable source of professional insurance coverage and a level of service not found in the commercial marketplace. Its membership is comprised of more than 200 of the nation's most prestigious firms and nearly 60,000 of its most accomplished lawyers. It is based in Chicago.

Baumann is based in the Denver office of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie. His practice focuses on a variety of complex corporate and business litigation, including representation of individual and corporate defendants in class and derivative actions (including claims under federal and state securities laws), and in connection with government investigations, as well as representation of local and national corporate entities in contract, fraud and other business litigation.
He also represents attorneys and law firms in a variety of disputes, including claims for negligence and breach of other professional responsibilities. Baumann has extensive experience in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation of business disputes. He has been included in the Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business annual listings in the Litigation: General Commercial and Litigation: White Collar Crime & Government Investigations categories from 2004-16, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
