Colorado Springs: Lunch with a Lawyer - October 10, 2017
Should a school use employment agreements? Is there a difference between a contract, an offer letter, and an employment agreement? Should schools have a written agreement for everyone or just for instructional staff? Does a written agreement mean there is no employment-at-will relationship? Is there a way to keep these agreements simple and understandable? Eric Hall will address the pros and cons of employment agreements and some basic items that should (and should not) be included.
We provide the lunch; you provide the questions. This luncheon will not be a lecture, but is designed to provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and share information with our attorney as well as the other participants.
This topic is designed for business owners and managers, nonprofit directors, church and ministry leaders, human resources managers, finance managers, and others who work in decision-making or support roles in your organization.
Time: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. – Complimentary lunch will be available beginning at 11:45 a.m.
Location: 90 South Cascade Avenue, Suite 1100, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
