Colorado Springs: Lunch with a Lawyer - June 21, 2016
Because the June 14th luncheon has filled to capacity, we are now having it again on June 21st. Please sign up now to register.
When employees experience physical, mental, or emotional injury or illness, it frequently requires some time off the job to recover. However, employers are faced with at least three dilemmas: 1) how does the employer know the employee is too ill to work, 2) how does the employer know when the employee is well enough to return, and 3) how long must the employer hold the employee’s job for him or her. Joan Rennekamp, our Client HR Consultant, will discuss a simple protocol for this process that involves appropriate documentation from the employee, the physician, and the employer.
We provide the lunch; you provide the questions. This luncheon will not be a lecture, but is designed to provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about specific situations you have or might encounter.
This topic is designed for business owners and managers, nonprofit directors, church and ministry leaders, human resources managers, finance managers, and others who work in decision-making or support roles in your organization.
